A private research and development team of Dr. Daniel Sweeney and John Read co-founded CELLULISTICS in 2013 to bring advanced structural foundational technologies (especially nanofibrillated cellulose, a.k.a. NFC) of transformational potential successfully to market. We invent industrial processes and designs in structural materials. We look principally to additive manufacturing, to disentangle limitations that currently keep NFC from mainstream potential, and provide novel means to use it.
Our efforts extend beyond NFC.
The company exploits those technologies to bring them directly to mass markets. Targeting mass-market requires products that cost within decision-makers budgets – i.e. homeowners. CELLULISTICS novel technologies and applications also stimulate grassroots self-sufficiency, provide protection from natural disasters, and enable local independence.
